I’m 18. I have breasts and hair in the necessary places, but no period. Should I be worried?

girl with hands over groinIt’s normal for a girl to get her period as early as 9 years old, as late as 15 years old, or about 2-3 years after breast development. Girls who are active in sports or are very thin may get their period later than other girls. Eighteen is definitely on the late side, so it’s a good idea to make an appointment with your health care provider to find out what’s causing the problem.
