Awesome question, thank you so much for asking! If you’re hungry an hour after eating, you’re likely either not eating enough and/or the food that you’re eating doesn’t have enough protein, fiber, or fat in it. These nutrients will help with lasting fullness (the other macronutrient, carbohydrates, are great for providing your body with energy). You might try adding things like olive oil, avocado, hummus, or nut/seed butter to your meals and see if this helps. If you’re getting full quickly when eating, try having several small meals throughout the day rather than 3 larger meals. Make sure to tell your health care provider about your symptoms as they may want to run some tests or have you meet with a registered dietitian.
