If I grew small boobs at a younger age, will that determine my breast size for the future?

Breast cancer self check, healthy lifestyle conceptTypically, a girl can expect to get her period about 2-3 years after she begins to develop breasts. But the age when you started to develop breasts doesn’t have anything to do with what your breast size will ultimately be. Your breast size has to do with your “genes.”  In addition, underweight girls may lose breast tissue and overweight girls may notice that her breasts grow larger.  A young woman’s breasts usually keep growing for about 5 years. Healthy eating as well as getting enough sleep and exercise will help your body grow in a healthy way.

It’s always a good idea to discuss any health concerns with your health care provider.
