I am always depressed. If I was told that I got an A+ in math, or if a was told I was going to get a cat, I’d still be depressed. Am I okay?

It must be frustrating to always feel depressed even when good things are happening. Many teens and adults feel sad sometimes but feeling sad most of the time is a good reason to get help. It’s important to tell an adult such as a parent or guidance counselor who can support you so you can get the help you need. Depression is more common than you might think but you can get better! There are many ways of helping depression get better. The best ways are a combination of therapy and finding support from those around you. There are also medications that can help. Your thoughts and feelings matter!
