I’m 16 and my doctor sent me for a blood test to check for PCOS… I’m terrified and would just like to talk to someone who has PCOS and ask questions. Do you know of any way I can do this?

PCOS iconsYes! We have lots of information about PCOS which stands for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, a medical condition which causes symptoms that often include: irregular periods, acne, unwanted hair, and trouble managing weight. We host a monthly moderated online chat for young women with PCOS that allows you to chat with others your age who are coping with PCOS, along with a nurse educator and a dietitian to help with nutrition questions, weight management and other issues. We also have many health guides and a booklet of information, plus a PCOS blog with new topics each month. All of this information is free!
