Some types of vaginal discharge are normal. However, since you just finished taking an antibiotic for a sinus infection, it’s likely that you have a yeast infection – but only your health care provider can tell for sure. Before you buy an over-the-counter treatment, you should make an appointment with your health care provider FIRST – while you have symptoms and before any treatment is used. Vaginal yeast infections are NOT sexually transmitted infections and can be cured with a vaginal cream or tablet that is inserted into the vagina with an applicator, or a pill taken by mouth.
