It’s normal to have a white odorless vaginal discharge any time during your menstrual cycle. It may be more noticeable at different times of the month, such as around ovulation and/or before your period. However, it’s not normal to have a vaginal odor or itching along with the discharge. This could mean that you have a yeast infection. See your health care provider (HCP) if you’re concerned or you have any new symptoms. Also, if you’ve had any sexual contact and have a discharge call your HCP and get checked for STIs.
